Had a great experience at SoFlo PT. Quality facility with great people. My PT, Minacshee was very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. What I appreciated most was that she looked beyond my injured knee. We spent a lot of time strengthening my hips, improving my stability and movement, which made a huge difference in my recovery. Thanks to her guidance, my knee is a lot better and my hips have steadily strengthened, and I feel more confident than ever. I highly recommend her to anyone recovering from an injury.

Soflo is my go to when I need any kind of PT. The facility is very modern, the staff is always cleaning and putting things away. My trainer Dustin is the most knowledgeable person I know, he explains the mechanics to each muscle, plus the why and the how to each move to make sure we are targeting the reason I am hurting and not just the source of the pain. After my first seven weeks of PT, I can say SoFlo PT is incredible. I came in after shoulder surgery to repair two breaks and a dislocation. I was told by my orthopedic surgeon that it would be a long road to recovery. From the very first session, my physical therapist, George, was hands on, knowledgeable and professional. I have come to think of him as my coach. His patience, supportive demeanor and genuine concern have made the process more bearable and I feel I am making amazing progress. A joyful day! I had a great experience working with Dr. Minachee. I came in with persistent pain in the back of my neck and shoulder, and through our sessions, she helped me find real relief. Some of the exercises and therapy techniques were challenging at first, but they proved to be very effective in relieving the pain. After my car accident in 2024, I gradually started experiencing pain that began to affect my everyday life. I initially tried to manage it on my own by stretching in ways I thought would help, but nothing really improved. Eventually, I decided to pursue physical therapy, though I ran into some challenges getting an appointment at the place I was first referred to. My doctor then referred me to South Florida Physical Therapy, and from the moment I was able to schedule my appointment, everything was smooth sailing. I was paired with the best doctor (not that I’m biased or anything), Dr. Minacshee Augustin. During my evaluation, she not only conducted thorough testing but also took the time to truly listen as I explained my entire journey following the accident. Since then, she has been consistently attentive, always making sure I was comfortable and progressing well through each exercise. She also made every visit enjoyable, I always enjoyed our chats! Had a wonderful experience at soflo rehab. Dr. Alvin and the whole staff are very knowledgeable, experienced, attentive, and caring. They've made the rehab experience enjoyable. My injury as well as my strength have greatly improved in a couple of months and I'm back to doing the activities I love! Definitely the best sports rehab experience I've ever had.

This place is great and well run. Minacshee was my physical therapist. I’ve had knee issues over the last year and within 4 weeks Minacshee showed me the exercises I needed to do to strengthen my knees, hips and glutes. I currently have 0 knee issues and feel stronger than ever. I highly recommend her as well as this center!

Alvin has now fixed me twice, both times for shoulders. My left one he fixed in 2023 and the pain i’d been having was P T ‘d away. Following complex foot surgery, I have been working with Dr. Alvin Puri at SoFlo Physical Therapy. I am very pleased with my experience. I started PT here about 2 months ago with nothing but doubt in mind. I moved back to Florida from CT after a major hip injury/surgery. I was so nervous about my recovery being long because I’m an extremely active person. They set me up with Dr. Alvin Puri who has cared immensely for me. He has been working with me for almost 2 months now and I’m already back at the gym running again! My surgeon told me it would take a year until I could walk with no pain again and Dr. Alvin Puri has helped me recover faster than I would have ever thought. I lost my balance and crashed into an unlocked glass door. I had tears in rotator cuff and a biceps head partial tear. Jessica on Se 8th St has worked with me, encouraging me, and keeping moving to more and more ability with my dominant arm. No surgery, just sweat and weights. My improvement has been off the charts, but I know complete recovery only comes with surgery and that’s not required to get me functional and then some. Highly recommended by my orthopedic doctor and I can see why!

SoFloPT rehab located near downtown Fort Lauderdale off of 9th street is a clean and has all the modern day equipment you need for a great workout. I came here for rehab after my total knee replacement surgery. Minacshee Augustin was my main physical therapist and I met with her two days after my surgery, and when I was still in a lot of pain. She was very knowledgeable in what exercises needed to be performed, good diet recommendations, and had a lot of experience dealing with patients like myself, who had just came out out of major knee surgery. I did my rehab for a full three months, 3 days per week, and was able to make solid strength gains, and almost 120° flexion in my knee. She always challenged me to try new exercises but did not rush me during this process. She was great at motivation and would help push you to achieve your goals.

I cannot recommend SoFlo Physical Therapy and my therapist Alvin enough. I came in after extensive shoulder surgery which severely affected my every day life. Alvin focused on individualized exercises that got me back to my activities about 7 weeks ahead of schedule. The staff is very professional. I've been to rehab PT at several places in Massachusetts and SoFlo PT has been better for its dynamic management of patients - everyone is there to help if you have any questions. That's a big plus to getting your repetitions in before its time to go home. You never have to wait to ask a question or discuss a concern or get set up for the next task. All the assigned tasks make sense as we experience improvement and look forward to "the next level" of strength building with more improvement. April 2025 A spinal cord surgery left me with S1damage from my lumbar to my toes on my right side. I showed up for my first appointment hobbling with a walker not sure if I would ever walk on my own again. I am so grateful and owe so much to these beautiful people at So Flo. I truly believe it is because of Hunter, her optimistic outlook and perseverance while working on my recovery enabled me to transition seamlessly from a walker to a cane to a limp and now less than a year later…I have my stride back. Hunter, Kristin and the entire So Flo staff are miracle workers and if I ever get married again, I told Hunter she is walking me down the aisle. The atmosphere at SoFlo is modern, light, upbeat and inspirational which for me made my recovery that much easier and enjoyable. 🩷

My experience with SOFLO PT has been the best. My physical therapist is Dustin and his assistant Louis. I’ve been going since October of 2025. First, for knee strengthening before my knee surgery which helps me a lot before surgery. Now, during recovery from me finally getting my knee surgery I was able to walk and move without feeling weak or in extreme pain. They pushed me to my limits knowing that I will achieve my weekly goals. They are very attentive of what I need to work on or even correct the form. I definitely recommend Dustin for a physical therapist. My experience has been excellent.
