Dr. Jacob Mungai graduated from Florida International University in 2025 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Pre-Clinical).

Dr. Mungai was born in Ohio and raised in South Florida, where he developed a lifelong passion for sports and performance. From a young age, he competed in soccer, track and field, and swimming, which fostered a deep appreciation for movement and the physical demands placed on the body. His interest in physical therapy began during his own rehabilitation experience, where he witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of intentional care and meaningful patient-provider relationships.

Dr. Mungai is passionate about helping patients restore function, regain independence, and confidently return to the activities that matter most to them. His approach emphasizes corrective exercise, movement quality, and personalized plans of care tailored to each individual’s goals, whether returning to sport, work, or simply living pain free.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mungai enjoys staying active, exploring South Florida, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He also values music, entertainment, and gaming as ways to unwind and recharge.
