After being told I needed surgery by a Dr., I decided to first try physical therapy to see if I somehow could delay or even prevent the surgery. Having been a patient previously, I immediately turned so SoFloPT Sport. My Dr (Dustin) listened, explained and ultimately produced a regimen that has allowed me to regain a noticeable amount of strength and range of motion. I’m no longer in constant pain and I’m back to be physically active. I can’t think Dustin, his team and SoFlaPt enough. I thought I had good therapy in the past but none measured up to the great results I had with Dr. Jessica Smith and South Florida Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab. My program was constantly updated so I was challenged to improve w/out ever over-doing.The facility is modern with lots of sunlight and well-maintained equipment. The support staff of Natasha and Justin willingly help patients with assigned exercises while cleaning equipment between patients using it. I was fortunate to have Intern Kate to work with me several times. Her bright smile, pleasant personality and level of knowledge were always helpful.All the staff (at least 4 holding Doctorates in Physical Therapy) worked together to present a cheerful environment that encouraged success. I observed patients from “I really don’t want to be here” beginners to obviously highly trained athletes grow in strength and balance.I give “Jess” and So Flo PT & Sports Rehab the highest marks possible, and recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone in need of physical improvements. I began my journey at SoFloPT Sport after tearing my ACL and meniscus. Under the expert care of Dr. Dustin Gonzalez, DPT, I relearned to walk and prepared for surgery. Now, just days post-operation, Dustin is guiding me through muscle reactivation, range of motion exercises, and walking again. His clear explanations and readiness to address any questions have been invaluable. During challenging and painful moments, his reassurance has made all the difference. I have been coming to SoFlo for 9 weeks now and have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. Gonzalaz is very professional and keeps me motivated to get my knee back to pre surgery strength and activities. Jordenne his student is always there to help out and assist in any way possible. I’ve been a golfer for my entire life. Recently I had 2 herniated discs and a fissure in my lower back. After months of chiropractic visits, and PRP injections in my lower back my doctor recommended PT. In all honesty I didn’t have high expectations. The work outs didn’t look like they would help much. I was completely wrong. Within 2 weeks my core strength improved so much it stabilized my lower back and pain started going away. Today I would say I’m 2/10 dull pain (when I started I was 10/10 sharp debilitating pain) and I’ve been seeing them a little over a month 2-3x per week. I wasn’t able to walk after my injury, and I just started hitting balls at the range again. I would highly recommend Dustin and Jordan especially if you have golf related injuries.

Dustin (and his interns, Andrew and Jordan) as well as the rest of the staff at SoFloPT have been fantastic! I had never been in physical therapy before but now am a strong believer and back to full strength and activity after my shoulder injury. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I’ve gotta say, pretty much everything about this place was great. Location and parking are really convenient, and the facility is so nice. It’s fairly new looking and is kept clean and organized and not a bad place to spend an hour!More importantly, my therapist Ally was excellent. She was extremely competent but also had a way of making the experience very pleasant. I have to admit that I never really felt like going, but once I was there I actually enjoyed it, and the time would fly by!The rest of the staff also was great too. Justin, who helped out several times in my sessions was awesome, and even whoever I first dealt with by phone when setting up my initial session was terrific.I’m hoping to not need any more PT in the near future, but if I do, I’ll definitely choose SOFLO!

The faculty at SoFlo is great. They have move exercises to help me than I ever seen. They were very professional, knowledgeable and caring. When I first started physical therapy my back pain & discomfort was 9-10. Starting with Alexis and finishing with Jessica it has improved to 3-4 level. I’m taking less pain meds also. The whole staff are excellent. To Alexis, Jess, Justin, Nat and CC I want to say thank you.

I came here with neck pain along with painful lower back pain and strength issues. Omar from the get-go was extremely attentive to the solutions and exercises to get me stronger and lower my pain levels. Through his friendly and optimistic demeanor and approach I left with finding myself very confident in strengthening my neck and lower back. I saw Omar about 2-3 a week for about 3 or so months and I’m very thankful for his compassion and commitment to making sure I left with the tools and knowledge to alleviate my pain. He also inspired me to get back into Pilates and yoga which I have and continue to keep up with. Came in for a non traumatic shoulder injury that was limiting my exercise routine and tennis. Dr Alvin Puri assessed my injury during our evaluation session. Over the course of the next 5 sessions he provided rehab exercises, which targeted my limited range of motion and helped rebuild the injured muscle. All of these exercises were able to be replicated at home or in a gym setting to speed my recovery. I’m back to my regular lifting routine and tennis with no pain during the workout or after. SoFlo is the best physical therapy facility I've ever gone to and unfortunately, I've had to rehab numerous times for physical issues The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and the techniques are very innovative, they constantly formulate and adjust the best approach for all my issues. I am so happy to have been referred to this amazing place! I have "frozen shoulder" and was not feeling optimistic about my ability to commit to Physical Therapy. *I have a very low threshold for pain! I just had a very negative outlook on what it would entail. But, from the minute I walked in, with Chercy at the front desk, Natalia and Justin being so friendly and helpful, I felt relaxed. Tara is my Physical Therapist, and I just feel so fortunate, as she is absolutely amazing! She has been so incredibly helpful! I actually our enjoy our sessions twice a week, and I am definitely getting better and stronger. I was diagnosed with Osteo-arthritis in my hip which caused pain and limited my mobility. I went to SoFlo with a limp and left after 10 sessions feeling so much better and now have the tools to help me stay flexible. I had a really great experience with John. I ruptured my Achilles in February, and John, Steph and team got me back up and able to jog by July. John was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, patient and understanding throughout the process. I had an incredible experience doing my PT at SOFLO! I injured my hamstring a few months back and was concerned about the pain and tough recovery journey with hamstring injuries.Dustin was my PT and was fantastic. He quickly identified what the state of my hamstring was on our first visit and he outlined a week by week plan to promote blood flow, mobility and build up to full strength and agility without pain. Dustin did a great job of outlining what the recovery would look like, we stuck to the plan and it was a great experience! Everyone who works at SOFLO works as a team and makes a great atmosphere from the PTs to the Techs, to the student trainees and the girls at the front desk!I’ve done PT for a few injuries over the years and this was my best experience! I was a patient at SoFlo Sport for 6 months after having had ACL reconstruction surgery and meniscus repair.Dustin Gonzalez was my physical therapist throughout my treatment, and words cannot express how eternally grateful I am to him for aiding in my recovery, recuperation, and restoration to normal activity.Dustin achieved the right balance of friendly but firm coaching to ensure I was pushing myself hard enough and improving my strength and mobility. He was empathetic on my bad days, uplifting on my good days, and celebratory on my best days.I didn’t realize how challenging postoperative PT would be, both physically and mentally, but SoFlo Sport and Dustin really helped me get back to being me.

SoFlo PT has been a life saver for me! I first met with Dustin in June after recovering from surgery for a broken heel. Since I was unable to put weight on my foot for 8 weeks, the goal was to regain use of my foot and return to my regular activity of daily walking and golfing.Dustin designed a program that focused on my goals but also challenged me with additional strengthening exercises. I must admit I am stronger now than before the accident and I just returned from a vacation in Sedona where I hiked multiple trails fairly easily!The studio is very clean and contemporary. It has a great vibe with TVs and upbeat music. . Sadly, when my time comes, I will be sorry to leave!

Soflo PT was my go to physical therapy place after knee replacement surgery and on another occasion. I worked exclusively with Jessica Jones both times. Jessica is excellent at knowing which exercises worked to get me back on my feet. She is very knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. The equipment there is extensive and everything needed to rehabilitate from an injury. I highly recommend SoFlo PT.

I have had the pleasure of working with South Florida Physical Therapy in Fort Lauderdale (SOFLOPT) for the second time, this time for an inflamed IT band and bursitis in my hip due to a sports injury. For the past four months I’ve been working with Carson, the owner, who has been exceptional in helping me recover.Carson’s expertise, combined with the customized plan of stretches and strengthening exercises he’s developed for me, has made a tremendous difference in my flexibility and overall progress. This is my second time working with SoFloPT for one of my many injuries. These guys always go above and beyond. The facility and its staff have blossomed since I first worked with them six years ago. Naturally, you worry if you’re going to get a good therapist out of the bunch. But when you observe all the therapists and the way they treat their clients, it becomes obvious that they are all excellent at what they do. I had the pleasure of working with Alvin during my recovery, and his attention to detail is what really impressed me. There was nothing I couldn’t ask a question on. He and the assistants made me feel confident that the movements we did were helping me get back to the best condition. This facility truly is the BEST in the area! The rehab I received after my rotator cuff surgery was beyond excellent. The entire staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable while always maintaining a professional environment . I am thrilled to have found this facility. After a bad fall, my shoulder was injured. I've never done physical therapy before but it was prescribed by my orthopedic doctor. It's only been three sessions, but I'm feeling better already. My therapist is Tara and she is absolutely incredible. I never thought I could actually enjoy Physical therapy, but she makes it fun. I am committed to going in three times a week, and I feel like if I keep working with Tara, I will have full mobility back. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Ally was my PT for rehab following hip replacement surgery, and she was spot on with her recommendations and working with me to regain strength and mobility. Ally printed exercises that we did together so that i could continue on my own, and i have.I highly recommend Ally Blixt for anyone looking to get back to where you were before needing PT.

Tara was such a pleasure to work with, always greeted by my name and a smile. She was so considerate of cracked ribs that I got a few days before but found a way to work around the issue. I have had a stiff neck for 6 months and she has made me feel 90% better in the alotted time she had to work with me. I have had a company with hundreds of employees for many years and know she will always be an asset to your or anyone’s. Company she decides to work at. I've been receiving treatment from SoFlo Physical Therapy for side effects of neuropathy. Alvin my therapist and Tracy have helped me considerably with improving my balance.. I would say that all the therapist and personnel have motivated and encouraged me to continue to strive to improve my mobility. I highly recommend soto Physical Therapy.

I came to SoFloPT Sports for muscle recovery for my left thigh and knee mobility. Dr John Berlind and assistant helped in this recovery. After 12 sessions in just a few weeks with him I was able to feel full strength back in my leg and was back to doing my normal everyday routines. Thanks so much!

I feel bad leaving this review but I feel like I have to. My girlfriend went there because she had knee pain. She was assigned an intern who was new, and she was told to do exercises that were hurting her knee. She told the intern her knee was hurting but the intern said it’s ok and to continue. The next day she couldn’t walk and was in pain the following week as well. I later confronted the staff and they apologized, it was genuine. I wasn’t going to leave this review because it was an honest mistake, but when she signed up for the training they told her they would charge us even though I explained her insurance covered 100% of the bill. They told me it’s their policy to charge 10%, wait for insurance to respond, then immediately refund it if 100% was covered. Well insurance responded on July 12 and I decided to wait to see when they would refund me before saying anything, but it’s currently August 26th and I got tired of waiting so I called in and they refunded her. The place and the people are nice so I really hope future customers don’t have the bad experience we had

So happy to have found this place! The staff is excellent and friendly. I went in with injured menisci in my knees. I was putting off going to physical therapy, but then I decided I needed professional help. I couldn't do any squats and lunges. Omar was patient and encouraging. He helped me tremendously. By the end of my pt program, I was able to do squats, lunges, roman dead lifts, and more. Highly recommend going here!

I have been going to rehab for 3 months now because of major shoulder surgery. And I couldn’t express my gratitude enough for my therapist whose name is Heath. Not only does he know what he is doing , like all the physical therapist. He has a way of making you feel comfortable with your exercises even though some of them put you in so much pain . He is kind and patient and I would recommend him to any of my friends!Bravo! Bravo!

This place is amazing! My orthopedic doctor recommended and wow from the very first contact with the front desk making the appointment to the confirmation which included not only parking directions but a link for a YouTube video showing you turn by turn instructions-the attention to detail is incredible. My therapist Alexus is extremely knowledgeable super friendly and has already helped so much with my pain and Chercy is amazing too! Highly recommend!

I worked with John for several months after being diagnosed with a herniated disk. My training was always varied and tailored to my individual treatment needs. After doing 2-3 sessions a week for a few months, my back pain is nearly completely gone. My core strength and overall mobility are now even better than before my injury. Alexus, my PT, evaluated me at my first session and designed a program to address my issue of weak lower back muscles. She re-evaluated me after several sessions to assess my progress.
