I am so happy to have been referred to this amazing place! I have "frozen shoulder" and was not feeling optimistic about my ability to commit to Physical Therapy. *I have a very low threshold for pain! I just had a very negative outlook on what it would entail. But, from the minute I walked in, with Chercy at the front desk, Isabela and Justin being so friendly and helpful, I felt relaxed. Tara is my Physical Therapist, and I just feel so fortunate, as she is absolutely amazing! She has been so incredibly helpful! I actually our enjoy our sessions twice a week, and I am definitely getting better and stronger. Tara has a gentle and effective way of getting me to exceed my range of motion, so I am able to move through any discomfort. I highly recommend this place and Tara is incredible.

I was diagnosed with Osteo-arthritis in my hip which caused pain and limited my mobility. I went to SoFlo with a limp and left after 10 sessions feeling so much better and now have the tools to help me stay flexible. Thank you so much Dustin for the individualized care for my specific needs. I would strongly recommended this place for physical therapy!

I had a really great experience with John. I ruptured my Achilles in February, and John, Steph and team got me back up and able to jog by July. John was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, patient and understanding throughout the process. He made what could have been a very grueling and depressing process challenging, but enjoyable and rewarding, and I believe got me healthier quicker. Thank you John and SOFLO PT Sport team! I had an incredible experience doing my PT at SOFLO! I injured my hamstring a few months back and was concerned about the pain and tough recovery journey with hamstring injuries.Dustin was my PT and was fantastic. He quickly identified what the state of my hamstring was on our first visit and he outlined a week by week plan to promote blood flow, mobility and build up to full strength and agility without pain. Dustin did a great job of outlining what the recovery would look like, we stuck to the plan and it was a great experience! Everyone who works at SOFLO works as a team and makes a great atmosphere from the PTs to the Techs, to the student trainees and the girls at the front desk!I’ve done PT for a few injuries over the years and this was my best experience! I was a patient at SoFlo Sport for 6 months after having had ACL reconstruction surgery and meniscus repair.Dustin Gonzalez was my physical therapist throughout my treatment, and words cannot express how eternally grateful I am to him for aiding in my recovery, recuperation, and restoration to normal activity.Dustin achieved the right balance of friendly but firm coaching to ensure I was pushing myself hard enough and improving my strength and mobility. He was empathetic on my bad days, uplifting on my good days, and celebratory on my best days.I didn’t realize how challenging postoperative PT would be, both physically and mentally, but SoFlo Sport and Dustin really helped me get back to being me.

SoFlo PT has been a life saver for me! I first met with Dustin in June after recovering from surgery for a broken heel. Since I was unable to put weight on my foot for 8 weeks, the goal was to regain use of my foot and return to my regular activity of daily walking and golfing.Dustin designed a program that focused on my goals but also challenged me with additional strengthening exercises. I must admit I am stronger now than before the accident and I just returned from a vacation in Sedona where I hiked multiple trails fairly easily!The studio is very clean and contemporary. It has a great vibe with TVs and upbeat music. . Sadly, when my time comes, I will be sorry to leave!

Soflo PT was my go to physical therapy place after knee replacement surgery and on another occasion. I worked exclusively with Jessica Jones both times. Jessica is excellent at knowing which exercises worked to get me back on my feet. She is very knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. The equipment there is extensive and everything needed to rehabilitate from an injury. I highly recommend SoFlo PT.

Soflo PT is a bright, sunny, Therapy gym filled with therapists, physical therapy,assistants all working together, helping each other, as needed.I knew I would feel better.My therapist was Tara Channon, DPTEach therapy day Tara was a smiling wealth of knowledge who knew what treatment I needed for a full recovery.I completed my program and I'm feeling wonderful. I have had the pleasure of working with South Florida Physical Therapy in Fort Lauderdale (SOFLOPT) for the second time, this time for an inflamed IT band and bursitis in my hip due to a sports injury. For the past four months I’ve been working with Carson, the owner, who has been exceptional in helping me recover.Carson’s expertise, combined with the customized plan of stretches and strengthening exercises he’s developed for me, has made a tremendous difference in my flexibility and overall progress. I’m now focusing on strengthening in the gym under his guidance, and I can feel the improvements every week.From the moment I step into their building, I am always greeted by the friendly receptionists, and everyone, from the assistants to the therapists, contributes to the positive atmosphere. The entire staff is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in their patients’ recovery.If you are dealing with a sports injury, or any injury, I highly recommend South Florida Physical Therapy. Ally did a phenomenal job helping my wife recover much faster than expected from a total knee replacement.SoFloPT came recommended by the University of Miami Orthopedics surgery department.We would highly recommend this facility and Ally in particular.

This is my second time working with SoFloPT for one of my many injuries. These guys always go above and beyond. The facility and its staff have blossomed since I first worked with them six years ago. Naturally, you worry if you’re going to get a good therapist out of the bunch. But when you observe all the therapists and the way they treat their clients, it becomes obvious that they are all excellent at what they do. I had the pleasure of working with Alvin during my recovery, and his attention to detail is what really impressed me. There was nothing I couldn’t ask a question on. He and the assistants made me feel confident that the movements we did were helping me get back to the best condition. I thank the entire SoFloPT team for making these last few weeks such an enjoyable and strengthening experience. You guys are the best.

This facility truly is the BEST in the area! The rehab I received after my rotator cuff surgery was beyond excellent. The entire staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable while always maintaining a professional environment . My therapist Kevin pushed me to attain my goals but always did it in a kind and friendly manner. I would highly recommend SoFLPT to anyone who needs rehabilitation.

I am thrilled to have found this facility. After a bad fall, my shoulder was injured. I've never done physical therapy before but it was prescribed by my orthopedic doctor. It's only been three sessions, but I'm feeling better already. My therapist is Tara and she is absolutely incredible. I never thought I could actually enjoy Physical therapy, but she makes it fun. I am committed to going in three times a week, and I feel like if I keep working with Tara, I will have full mobility back. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Ally was my PT for rehab following hip replacement surgery, and she was spot on with her recommendations and working with me to regain strength and mobility. Ally printed exercises that we did together so that i could continue on my own, and i have.I highly recommend Ally Blixt for anyone looking to get back to where you were before needing PT.

Tara was such a pleasure to work with, always greeted by my name and a smile. She was so considerate of cracked ribs that I got a few days before but found a way to work around the issue. I have had a stiff neck for 6 months and she has made me feel 90% better in the alotted time she had to work with me. I have had a company with hundreds of employees for many years and know she will always be an asset to your or anyone’s. Company she decides to work at. Thank - You Tara you were a true professional at what you do.

I've been receiving treatment from SoFlo Physical Therapy for side effects of neuropathy. Alvin my therapist and Tracy have helped me considerably with improving my balance.. I would say that all the therapist and personnel have motivated and encouraged me to continue to strive to improve my mobility. I highly recommend soto Physical Therapy.

I came to SoFloPT Sports for muscle recovery for my left thigh and knee mobility. Dr John Berlind and assistant helped in this recovery. After 12 sessions in just a few weeks with him I was able to feel full strength back in my leg and was back to doing my normal everyday routines. Thanks so much!

I feel bad leaving this review but I feel like I have to. My girlfriend went there because she had knee pain. She was assigned an intern who was new, and she was told to do exercises that were hurting her knee. She told the intern her knee was hurting but the intern said it’s ok and to continue. The next day she couldn’t walk and was in pain the following week as well. I later confronted the staff and they apologized, it was genuine. I wasn’t going to leave this review because it was an honest mistake, but when she signed up for the training they told her they would charge us even though I explained her insurance covered 100% of the bill. They told me it’s their policy to charge 10%, wait for insurance to respond, then immediately refund it if 100% was covered. Well insurance responded on July 12 and I decided to wait to see when they would refund me before saying anything, but it’s currently August 26th and I got tired of waiting so I called in and they refunded her. The place and the people are nice so I really hope future customers don’t have the bad experience we had

So happy to have found this place! The staff is excellent and friendly. I went in with injured menisci in my knees. I was putting off going to physical therapy, but then I decided I needed professional help. I couldn't do any squats and lunges. Omar was patient and encouraging. He helped me tremendously. By the end of my pt program, I was able to do squats, lunges, roman dead lifts, and more. Highly recommend going here!

I have been going to rehab for 3 months now because of major shoulder surgery. And I couldn’t express my gratitude enough for my therapist whose name is Heath. Not only does he know what he is doing , like all the physical therapist. He has a way of making you feel comfortable with your exercises even though some of them put you in so much pain . He is kind and patient and I would recommend him to any of my friends!Bravo! Bravo!

This place is amazing! My orthopedic doctor recommended and wow from the very first contact with the front desk making the appointment to the confirmation which included not only parking directions but a link for a YouTube video showing you turn by turn instructions-the attention to detail is incredible. My therapist Alexus is extremely knowledgeable super friendly and has already helped so much with my pain and Chercy is amazing too! Highly recommend!

I worked with John for several months after being diagnosed with a herniated disk. My training was always varied and tailored to my individual treatment needs. After doing 2-3 sessions a week for a few months, my back pain is nearly completely gone. My core strength and overall mobility are now even better than before my injury. Overall, I'm very happy to have worked with SoFloPT. They are very professional and have a great facility.

Alexus, my PT, evaluated me at my first session and designed a program to address my issue of weak lower back muscles. She re-evaluated me after several sessions to assess my progress. The stretching and floor exercises, weights and specific machines helped strengthened those muscles and improved my posture.Alexus, the other PTs and the administrative assisstant are very friendly and scheduling an appt. was always easy.Thank you Alexus and the SoFloPT team for making PT enjoyable and productive.

Had bilateral knee replacement with Dr. Alexus Tennant as my physical therapist.The facility has two separate buildings each a sparkling modern facility. What makes it special however is the staff, from the reception desk to the therapists and their assistants.Alexus has been nothing short of amazing guiding me carefully through a long recovery with its ups and downs, both physically and mentally.Highly recommend!

This was not my first experience with SoFlo Physical Therapy. I continue to return to them when necessary because of the great experiences that I’ve had. SoFlo PT has been phenomenal since I started coming here three months ago. When I walked into my first session, I was fresh out of surgery for a broken fibula and tibia—my first injury ever—so I had no idea what to expect. From day one, Dustin and Gaby have been incredibly informative and supportive in every session. I went from not being able to put any weight on my leg to now walking confidently and incorporating more exercises each time. Dustin and Gaby ensure that I understand each exercise and address all my questions, alleviating any doubts I may have. The environment is incredibly welcoming, and I'm thrilled that I chose SoFloPT! I highly recommend them and look forward to continuing my journey to full recovery with the help of my amazing therapists.

Alexis is the most competent and thorough physical therapist that I have ever worked with. Her enthusiasm, energy and commitment to rehabilitating her patients are a testament to her character and integrity as a person and health care professional. She is sweet, fun and caring and brings healing light to everyone she touches. I was fortunate to be her patient and improved immensely under her care. Ally did a great job of not only identifying the imbalances I had in leg musculature due to surgeries, but prescribed various creative exercises that challenged me daily. I felt like I was always challenged physically, and despite my belief that I would probably never get better, my legs came back better than ever.

Highly recommend this facility along with Dr. John Berland. I came in with an injured knee twice. And twice he was able to diagnose and fix it! I'm an active guy, in the gym 5 days a week. So I was very happy to get back in after being hurt. And it was all thanks to John!

I have been to So Fl Physical Therapy several times for different issues. Most recently, my doctor ordered PT for my shoulder after diagnosing me with bursitis. Alvin was my therapist and he was excellent. He was always upbeat and made therapy go by fast. Alvin is very knowledgeable and helped me to resolve my shoulder issue. I highly recommend Alvin!

I have been very pleased with the physical therapy I am receiving For my knee from Alvin at South Florida, Therapy. Alvin is very professional and personable and has given me a variety of exercises and stretches to strengthen and increase my balance and flexibility. His directions are clear, and he watches me carefully to make sure I am doing things correctly. The facility is neat, clean, and filled with light. It is easy to get to, and there is always ample parking in the garage next door. I highly recommend Alvin and South Florida physical therapy.

Unfortunately I tore my ACL in December on my first day of the new ski season. It put a halt to everything, and was one of the most mentally and physically challenging things I’ve gone through. After consulting various doctors , I decided to get my first surgery ever. The first week after surgery was excruciating. Unable to walk , unable to drive , unable to work - I felt so hopeless. Fortunately my surgeon referred me to Soflo and I was paired with Dustin. I have been going to PT for the past 3 months and have noticed incremental improvements every week. He has a way of pushing you right to your limit, but not overdoing it. Last week I jogged for the first time since 2023. The facility is brand new , has lots of equipment , is located near downtown and even has free parking. If you need physical therapy , this is hands down the place to go.

I have done PT before but this is the only place I feel that I am getting somewhere. I have to thank Heath for helping me in my knee recovery. The amount of pain I had before starting my physical therapy was unbearable, but thanks to the exercises I feel that my knee is getting better (if only I wouldn't have to travel so much). By the way, I agree with other reviews, they are friendly and professional, and the place is super clean.
