I went to SoFlo PT for physical therapy following rotator cuff surgery. My experience was excellent and thanks to Dr. Hunter Thompson expertise and guidance my recovery was successful. Hunter facilitated home exercises electronically and in print which were key to my recovery as well. The initial and subsequent assessments were thorough which kept me informed so feel free to ask questions and express your concerns as they will be addressed. In addition to Hunter’s great care, the facility is kept pristine clean and all the other Drs. and staff members are very friendly and ready to help.

The location at SoFlo PT located at 6000 N Federal Highway in fort lauderdale is every bit as wonderful as the other locations. Having received care at the 3rd Ave location years ago, I knew i would be in great care at this newer location, as I can't drive due to shoulder surgery. Forgive me if I can't remember all the names of those I have been in contact with as this was my 1st week there. My first contact was Dr. Hunter Thompson. She was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. She went above and beyond in finding information regarding insurance info and got back to me very quickly. She is now my PT and an excellent one as well. I have complete trust and confidence in her knowledge and skill set as a clinician. From Julisa( sorry if I spelled it wrong) and the insurance lady who i can't remember her name, and to Dr. Kirsten, who cares and takes an interest in all clients, not just her own. The whole process has been great thus far and I am looking forward to the journey with Dr. Hunter in restoring my health, allowing me to get back to the activities I enjoy .

I’ve been to several physical therapy companies for various rehabs. By far, the best, most comprehensive and knowledgeable staff, is at SoFlo PT. The facilities are spotless. Even though there may be more than one patient being seen by your therapist, their detailed attention makes you feel as if you are the only patient. The entire staff works in tandem making sure you are engaging the proper muscles, using good form, and maintaining safety precautions. The mood is always upbeat, encouraging, and positive — which is essential when one is recovering from a painful surgery. I’ve had the good fortune of working with Jess, who has made me feel so comfortable and in such good and experienced hands. It’s great walking in and being welcomed by name by literally the whole staff. It truly feels like one big family and SoFlo makes the chore of difficult rehabilitation into a fun activity I look forward to.

I have had great success with the care by Jessica Jones and the other staff members. Jessica is very hands on, attentive and knowledgeable and has communicated my plan at every step; and adjusted exercises depending on my progress or set backs. She is top notch!

I came to Dr. Kirsten Little for neck pain from a mild C4–C5 misalignment and later for chronic knee pain caused by early chondropathy under the kneecap. In just a few sessions, my neck improved dramatically thanks to her hands-on techniques, personalized exercises, and clear explanations.When we moved on to my knee, she took a completely different and very thoughtful approach focused on hip alignment, something no other PT had done before. She’s professional, empathetic, and motivating, and she pushes you to do your best while always making you feel supported.I’ve seen several physical therapists over the years, and Dr. Little is by far the best, knowledgeable, caring, and deeply committed to helping her patients recover. Very good experience with Alvin. Pain in your feet is very difficult to figure it all out, but Alvin did a great job and giving me the guidance I needed for Exercize and resolving the pain so I could still play pickle ball.

Excellent place for physical Therapy! Always clean, upbeat environment. My PT person, Ally, is so knowledgeable. Very professional. Very creative and results oriented. Knows how to motivate the client. Great at helping the client to remain positive. The perfect balance in personality, pleasant, funny, caring without being overly so. I’ve been having post surgery physical therapy at So Flo in Fort Lauderdale with Dr. Alison Blixt and her Team From a reverse shoulder replacement. Their approach has helped me get my movement back and my life back. I would recommend them to anyone who has gone through any type of orthopedic surgery and needs rehabilitation excellent and establishment.

I worked with Dr John on 2 separate occasions. Upon completion of working with John, I was very satisfied with the results we achieved. We worked quickly out of surgery with an 8-10 week window to get ready for an intense Snow season ahead. Surgery first week of November, and by Mid January I was ripping double black diamonds with confidence. John was a very important part to the recovery process. I am unfortunately an expert about PT because of multiple surgeries and ongoing medical conditions. SoFloPT has an atmosphere of positivity that includes the needed equipment to rehab and the qualified staff to help you recover. Treatment options are available that are missing at other facilities.My doctor, Dustin Gonzalez, encourages when I hurt and protects me from myself when I try to do too much. Dustin has the knowledge and communicative skills to explain his treatment plan for your recovery and interacts with his patients to make adjustments when required. Dustin is on par with the Miami Heat physical therapist that helped me recover from my shoulder surgery in the 1990s.My recommendation is backed by actions and not just words. I drive 15 miles each way 3 times a week to receive physical therapy from SoFloPT and Dustin. There are many physical therapists along my route but I am not going to shortcut my health and miss the opportunity to better myself by not receiving my physical therapy from Dustin and SoFloPT.

Life-Changing.I started seeing Dr. Dustin Gonzalez for my club foot a few months ago and it has been the single most life changing decision I've ever made. Not only is Dustin extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the physical therapy sessions but the entire staff at SoFloPT is very friendly & always willing to lend a helping hand. Following a rotator cuff surgery performed at Holy Cross, my surgeon's office highly recommended I follow their prescribed rehab protocol with the team at SoFloPT Rehab North. I met with Kirsten a couple of weeks after my surgery and we were off on a very successful 13-week journey to get from having a wimpy and sore T-Rex arm to now enjoying near full range of motion and building back strength without pain.This was my second rotator cuff surgery and rehab, following the other arm going kaput nine years ago, and I could not have been more impressed with Kirsten and her approach to getting my arm back in action. She listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and then tailored our time together to steadily improve session after session. Some things I could do well right from the start and others took much more effort, but Kirsten spent our time where it was needed most and by the end my arm felt and moved nearly as good as before. I still have 3 months of healing and strength building to go, but Kirsten set me up to have a full recovery and even though I am not going to any further PT sessions, Kirsten gave me plenty to work on along with some sound counsel to avoid messing up my arm again.I hope I don't rip up my shoulder again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to go back to SoFloPT to get things right. Their facility is clean, bright and full of new equipment. Everyone there was friendly and dedicated to making sure the sessions ran on time and were productive. Coming back from a surgery and signing up for 13 weeks of PT is a big commitment, but the time flew by and the end result is definitely worth it.

I worked with Hunter after tricep reattachment surgery and I’m back to doing pushups. I’m a fitness trainer, certified 20+ years and I was impressed by Hunters wealth of knowledge and patient instructions; I even learned a few things. Hunter is a natural teacher with a strong healing mentality and an asset to soflaPT, which is a competent and caring staff.

I went to SoFlo for the second time to fix my problem on my shoulder. Tara was great, she worked with me and my shoulder improved a lot. Her professional approach to my problem helped me to learn how to continue the exercises at home when I left Florida. If I need more physical therapy in the future I will get back to her. The staff a facility are the best. I booked my evaluation at the wrong facility and the desk helped and accommodated me.Kirsten was very knowledgeable with my rehab. SoFloPT is my go to physical therapy sanctuary. The facility always looks and feels so clean and smells great. I came in with hip and back pain. Dr Alvin Puri was my physical therapist. South Florida Physical Therapy is the go to facility for any PT needs . This is my second experience . I was fortunate to work with Tara concerning a tendon issue with my foot . She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. At the beginning of every session we would talk about how I was feeling and she would quickly change my therapy program that day if needed. The entire staff is very friendly and professional as well. I’m happy to say that my foot is feeling great !

I came in unable to walk with a ruptured achilles tendon and bad foot sprains. Ally worked a plan for my recovery which provided plenty of communication and steady improvement. The techs were knowledgable and personable. I was encouraged and made the progress I had hoped for. Highly recommended!

When I first started PT at SoFlo, I was experiencing severe shoulder pain with most movements and had significantly limited range of motion.From day one, my therapist Alvin Puri, and his team demonstrated remarkable attentiveness to my specific condition. Excellent staff and therapists

Omar went above and beyond to get our son out of the dugout and back on the field! Not only did he help heal his injury, he also helped him strengthen all of his muscles and gave him a home exercise plan to help keep him healthy and in the game! I would highly recommend Omar and SoFloPT to anyone in the SoFlo area!

Ally was the best PT person I have ever worked with!

High marks go to John, Cooper and the various interns who did a great job in guiding me through my rehab from a bulging disc which left me immobile. I’m now back fully functioning and feeling great. This was my first experience at a PT facility and I was really impressed. I may transition to personal training which they offer to people of all abilities.

I unfortunately had 2 knee surgeries in 2024. My doctor recommended SoFloPT Rehab. After my first surgery I made my appointment and was placed with Ally. She got me back on my feet and in better working condition than I could’ve imagined. In December I had my other knee done and went back to rehab with Ally again. She did her magic and I’m back playing pickleball. The whole staff along with Ally, and her assistants Justin & Natalie, were super. The facility is well maintained and clean. I give it 5 stars. Besides Ally they have at least 3 other therapists. If I need any rehab again I’ll be going back!!!
