Dr. Hunter Thompson graduated from the University of St. Augustine with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021. Prior to that, she attended Furman University,  where she earned her degree while also competing as a Division 1 volleyball player. Her athletic background has been a driving force in shaping her approach to physical therapy, providing her with a unique understanding of injury prevention and recovery.

Originally from Nashville, Dr. Thompson has had the opportunity to work as a physical therapist in four different states, gaining a diverse range of experiences and refining her skills to offer the best possible care to her patients. Her journey across the country has allowed her to develop a well-rounded approach to treatment, blending advanced techniques with a focus on personalized, patient-centered care. Now in South Florida, she’s excited to bring her valuable insights to SOFLO! 

Outside of her professional career, Dr. Thompson is passionate about fitness and the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, working out, listening to music, and engaging in a variety of outdoor activities. With a deep commitment to health and wellness both in and out of the clinic, Dr. Thompson is excited to bring her expertise and passion to the South Florida community, helping others achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle.
