Dr. Carson Kutuchief is the owner and founder of SoFloPT REHAB and SoFloPT SPORT. In his sixteen years of practice, he has become one of South Florida’s most reputable physical therapists specializing in orthopedic surgical and non-surgical injuries.

Dr. Kutuchief, originally from Akron, Ohio, graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences. He then continued on to graduate school where he was awarded a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2010.

“I love my job, I have the chance to help people in pain using my hands and knowledge of the body, I think people are often surprised of what they are capable of doing,” Dr. Kutuchief says.

Dr. Kutuchief had a vision to create a multi-disciplinary practice utilizing sports physical therapists, sports chiropractic care, and sport performance training. He built his dream practice from ground up in his dream location.

Dr. Kutuchief has a passion for weight training, basketball, standup paddle boarding, and enjoys the beaches and vibrant lifestyle SoFlo offers with friends and family.

Dr. Kutuchief’s passion for orthopedics motivated him to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a specialist recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as an individual whose clinical specialization in orthopedic physical therapy demonstrates knowledge, skill, and experience exceeding that of an entry level physical therapist. He is also a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) through the Maitland Australian Schooling. This certification is considered the pinnacle of modern day treatment of the spine and peripheral (arm and leg) conditions using assessment and treatment of the patient’s signs and symptoms to construct a plan of care. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), trained in using Graston technique, experienced with the use of blood flow restriction training, and awarded his certification in Dry Needling. He has twelve years of experience working with professional athletes, college athletes, and crossfit athletes.
