Namiko Knight
Namiko has always enjoyed participating in an active lifestyle and sharing it with others. In California, she grew up as a competitive dancer in the styles of tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and lyrical. She later joined a professional contemporary hip hop company in San Diego as well as a professional hip hop crew in Los Angeles and was a dance instructor for various studio, high school, and middle school organizations.
Namiko has worked with a wide range of patient populations: professional athletes including NFL athletes, professionals in the performing arts industry including Broadway performers, various orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and more. She aspires to constantly refine her knowledge with research and during her time at Dominican University of New York, she conducted a study comparing different treatment techniques for the shoulder and their respective effects on pectoralis minor length and scapular electromyography activity.

Optimizing patient
care
Namiko’s dance background, love for sports, passion for physical activity, and appreciation of the human body have influenced her commitment to deliver high quality care to her patients to optimize functional movement. During her free time, Namiko enjoys weight training, trying new restaurants, and spending time at the beach.
