Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Ally Cox graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She was also an NCAA Intercollegiate Athlete during her time there as a 4-year member of the women's swim team. After college, Ally worked for 2 years as a Physical Therapy Aide in a busy outpatient orthopaedic clinic to gain experience prior to applying to PT school. She graduated from the University of Miami with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013, during which time she had the opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics and professional athletes. Since that time, Ally has worked in several outpatient orthopaedic clinical settings in Central and South Florida.
Ally enjoys working with a variety of patient populations, from teenage athletes to active retirees and everyone in between. She also has extensive experience treating post-operative patients and is a proficient Spanish speaker in the healthcare setting. Outside of work, Ally enjoys fishing with her husband, spending time with their two rescue dogs, and cheering on the Miami Hurricanes football team!
