Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Jaclyn Stermer graduated in the top of her class from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in 2020 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She also earned her Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Florida State University in 2016. Currently, Dr. Stermer is pursuing a Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.
During her time at NSU, Dr. Stermer co-authored "Stem Cell Injections for Musculoskeletal Pathologies", a peer reviewed publication cited in the Strength and Conditioning Journal. Additionally, she presented her abstract on the effect of stem cell injections and platelet rich plasma on knee osteoarthritis at the National Strength and Conditioning Association conference.
Jaclyn was raised in South Florida and has always had a passion for all things sports and outdoors. She loves all styles of movement, including HIIT, weight lifting, yoga, swimming, and biking. Jaclyn played competitive soccer for 18 years and was inspired to become a physical therapist following several sports related injuries. These experiences, coupled with her devotion to help others, drives Jaclyn to provide meaningful and personalized care for all orthopedic injuries, athletes and non-athletes alike. Dr. Stermer is committed to empowering patients to reach their full functional potential by improving overall health, wellness, and movement.
Outside of work, Jaclyn enjoys live music, going to the beach, hiking mountains, traveling, and cooking delicious healthy cuisine with friends and family.
